Hong Shuang Xi, aptly named Double Happiness, is a landmark Chinese restaurant located within The Peak, Phnom Penh's first high-end luxury brand mall. We had the unique opportunity to create an interior design that seamlessly merges traditional Chinese elements with modern opulence, echoing the restaurant's commitment to provide authentic cuisine in an elevated dining environment.

The color palette draws upon a sophisticated interplay of black and red tones, which, paired with atmospheric red lighting, imbues the space with a warm and inviting ambiance. The red, symbolizing luck and joy in Chinese culture, reflects the restaurant's name and its aspiration to deliver a doubly happy dining experience to every guest.

The interior design melds old and new, reinterpreting traditional Chinese aesthetics with a modern luxury touch. This unique blend is evident in the use of classic motifs and modern materials, providing a contemporary dining experience steeped in cultural richness.
